ACTIVITIES AT KID’S KINGDOM
At Kid’s Kingdom, we believe that every child is a unique and precious gift from God, created with a purpose. Our holistic learning approach nurtures the whole child – physically, socially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually – helping them grow in wisdom, confidence, and faith.
All school activities, rings, songs and language development groups revolve around a theme. The themes are changed each week based on a three-year curriculum.
Our activities include cutting out, gluing, box construction, crayon work, patterns, painting, baking, music & movement, language development, role play, puzzles and creative activities to enhance school readiness. The children enjoy playing on our extensive range of equipment, both outdoors and indoors.
Our mornings are structured to allow for the right amount of time for learning and plenty of room for play.
SCHOOL READINESS
This is a special programme for the 5/6 year olds. It is designed especially to gear the children for that next step…. the big school. A full folder of their work is sent home each end of term once the syllabus has been completed. Body image, colour, size, shapes, number readiness, reading and writing readiness are but a few subjects covered.
In November a Graduation Ceremony is held for the 6 year olds in recognition of their school readiness skills.
