ABOUT KID’S KINGDOM PRE-SCHOOL CENTRE
Kid’s Kingdom Pre-School Centre is situated in Goedemoed, Durbanville. Crossway (previously Goedemoed Baptist Church) started in 1990 and the school was established when the building was constructed in 1993. Our school is governed by Crossway Church and we are open to all pre-school children, ages 3 months – 6 years (Grade R).
Many years ago, God gave us the following verse from Jeremiah:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
(Jeremiah 29:11)
We, as a school, have seen this realized and still trust God for more of His plans in the future.
To establish and maintain, equip and conduct a Pre-School Centre for children aged 3 months – 6 years (Grade R), where the children will receive:
- A pre-school education in terms of the requirements of the Department of Social Development and the Department of Education,
- A Christian education carefully designed for their age group, as a service to the community.

We are here to:
- Teach your child to love God and the world He made
- Give your child a happy time
- Love and care for your child
- Educate your child, ie prepare him / her for formal learning
- Teach your child values that will be part of his / her character right through life
- Help mould your child
- Introduce your child to new areas of learning, which will help him / her develop new skills
- Introduce him / her to a new world of playing, and of learning through play
- Treat each child as an individual and respect their differences
- Discipline, if necessary (time out)
Our school is governed by Crossway Church and we are open to all pre-school children, ages 3 months – 6 years (Grade R).
